We are looking for a Commis I/II to help our chefs prepare tasty and authentic Peruvian and Latin American dishes. You will support the kitchen team and keep your section clean, organized, and ready for service.
Key Responsibilities
- Help prepare and cook dishes following RIKO’s standards.
- Support the Chef de Partie in running your section.
- Prepare ingredients and make sure your station is ready before service.
- Keep food quality, taste, and portions consistent.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleaning rules.
- Help with stock rotation and reducing food waste.
- Keep your work area clean and organized.
- Learn new recipes and skills from senior chefs.
- Work well with the team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of kitchen experience (experience with Peruvian or Latin food is a plus).
- Basic cooking skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work under pressure and in flexible shifts.
- Culinary training or certification is an advantage.
